  • REPT BATTERO is seeking a Manager of Solution Development to join our dynamic team of skilled professionals, reporting to the VP of Technical Services.
  • As a Solution Development Manager, you will be integral in shaping and commercializing technology offerings that align with the needs of the global energy storage market. Your responsibilities will include guiding technology strategy in collaboration with Sales, R&D, and Supply Management to support large-scale energy storage integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the energy storage sector, focusing on battery technologies and market development. Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills are essential. A thorough understanding of global energy and power markets, including utility-scale renewables and energy storage, is required. You should also possess strong project and process management skills, with experience leading multiple teams on concurrent projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of solutions and concepts for integrated energy storage offerings, ensuring alignment with market demands and customer requirements.
  • Design and maintain tools for system design and long-term service agreement (LTSA) technical and commercial proposals.
  • Collaborate with regional Sales Managers to understand technical market standards and grid codes, identifying opportunities for differentiation and improved go-to-market strategies.
  • Assist regional Sales Engineers in optimizing project proposals, customer presentations, and responses to RFPs for new offerings.

About The Job :

  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead the execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from contract signing through final acceptance. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across stakeholders, ensuring that all project delivery milestones, technical requirements, and contractual obligations are met—on time, on budget, and to spec. This role is critical in driving successful delivery for our Independent Power Producer (IPP) and developer clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing project plans: Assist Sales team in developing project plans during RFP stage.
  • Project Onboarding: Step in once the supply contract is signed between BESS supplier and IPP/developer. Understand scope, deliverables, and contractual obligations.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with commercial, engineering, production, delivery, logistics, commissioning, and client teams to align on schedules and expectations.
  • Schedule & Milestone Management: Develop and maintain detailed project timelines from production to delivery, commissioning, and final acceptance. Ensure all contractual milestones are met.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks and roadblocks early; proactively resolve issues and escalate when needed to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular progress reports to internal teams and external clients. Host meetings to align expectations, flag changes, and confirm deliverables.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure that all work meets technical specifications, local regulations, and project QA/QC standards throughout the lifecycle.
  • Contractual Oversight: Track key obligations and deliverables per the Master Supply Agreement or BSA contract. Coordinate with legal and commercial teams to manage change orders or claims if needed.

Our Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management within the energy, renewables, or utility-scale infrastructure sector, preferably in Texas.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-phase hardware or equipment projects (BESS, solar, or similar preferred).
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycles: production, logistics, DDP, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
  • Familiar with commercial contracts and the enforcement of contractual obligations, penalties, and incentives.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills—able to manage diverse stakeholders across time zones.
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Engineering or technical background is advantageous.

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Support Specialist to manage the end-to-end delivery process of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) from our manufacturing facilities to customer sites under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, compliant, and efficient transportation of BESS units, which may include dangerous goods, across international and domestic routes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Logistics Coordination • Plan, schedule, and oversee transportation of BESS units from factory to customer site. • Coordinate loading, unloading, and safe handling at each transit point (factory, port, warehouse, client site).
  • Shipping & Documentation • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete. • Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), and other required documents.
  • Dangerous Goods Compliance • Ensure all shipments comply with applicable IATA, IMDG, and country-specific dangerous goods regulations. • Work with vendors to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for DG shipments.
  • Customs and Regulatory Compliance • Coordinate import/export permits, customs clearance, and tariff classifications in origin and destination countries. • Track duties, taxes, and other DDP obligations to ensure full compliance with contract terms.
  • Warehousing and Inventory Transit • Manage temporary storage, warehousing, and inventory control of BESS systems as needed during transit. • Ensure proper storage conditions, especially for lithium-ion battery units.
  • Tracking and Communication • Maintain real-time shipment tracking and proactively resolve potential delays or disruptions. • Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders (project managers, sales, customer service) and external clients.
  • Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes, reduce shipping costs, and improve delivery timelines. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global trade, customs, and logistics regulations relevant to BESS.

Our Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in international logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding, ideally with DDP or project cargo delivery from China to the U.S.
  • Experience handling dangerous goods, preferably lithium batteries and containerized systems.
  • Solid understanding of customs clearance, INCOTERMS, shipping documents, and import/export compliance.
  • Strong coordination skills across freight carriers, ports, customs, warehouses, and end customers.
  • Proficiency in logistics/tracking tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across time zones and occasionally travel as needed.

Preferred:
