392Ah Wending® ES battery! REPT BATTERO Unveils Solutions from Cell to System!

On the first day of the 13th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (ESIE), REPT BATTERO officially launched the new generation of Wending® energy storage cells and its supporting PowtrixTM 3.0 version of 6.26 MWh energy storage system.

392Ah Battery Cell: Upgraded Safety and Manufacturing Performance

As an “all-rounder” of REPT BATTERO’s Wending® series, the 392Ah energy storage cell has outstanding performance in safety performance, which contributes to the further transformation of the system level.

● 0 fire & 0 explosion

As a all rounder in 600+ cell, the maximum thermal runaway temperature of the 392Ah cell is similar to that of the 314Ah cell, which is better than that of other large-capacity “players”. Under extreme conditions, the cell does not catch fire or explode, fully reflecting its high safety and stability.The product has obtained excellent performance and certificate in mutiple tests.

● Support Rapid mass production

The energy density of 392Ah is up to 415Wh/L, adopting mature electronic chemistry system applied in 300Ah+ series to ensure high-efficienct development and reliable performance. Additionally, this product boosts long cycling life of more than 12,000 times with more than 95% high energy efficiency. At the same time, becuase the size of the cell is similar to the 300 + series, 392Ah cll could produced in a short period of time by using the same manufacturing lines.

6.26 MWh BESS: Adaptation & Flexibility to Meet Diverse Needs

PowtrixTM 6.26 MWh energy storage system efficiently integrates 392Ah cells through innovative integration technology. While keeping the 20-foot standard container unchanged, the installed energy can be increased to 6.26MWh, which builds a high security, high reliability and high maturity energy storage solution.

● Initial Investment Reduced

The size of the 392Ah cell integrated in the system is similar to that of the 314Ah, but the maturity and processability of its chemical system is superior, which is conducive to the rapid rollout of system products. Compared with 5MWh system, the energy density of 6.26MWh BESS is improved by 20%, the whole station land is saved by 16%, and on-site working hours are saved by 18%, which are further friendly for users to reduce the initial investment.

● Product Availiability Rate Improved

The system balancing capability is upgraded to active balancing as capacity grows. The upgraded balancing strategy significantly reduces the downtime of operation and maintenance, ensuring the product availability and battery utilization rate.

● Stable Operation in All Scenarios

The innovation of the thermal control enables the product to operate stably from cold and snowy areas to high temperature deserts. The high-modulus structural gene gives the product strong stability, and it can withstand all kinds of violence from sea and land transportation to geologically active areas.

● Intelligent Operation and Maintenance for Safety

In conjunction with professional partners, the BESS reduces the risk of accidents at every level by combining AI models and physical models. Based on big data intelligent analysis technology, risks are reduced by steps from the identification of the risk source, the monitoring of battery failures to the early warning of the battery’s thermal loss of control. We builds a station-level safety risk assessment model covering the battery body, BMS failures, and thermal management system failures to provides a comprehensive solution for developing targeted transportation strategies.
