SNEC 2025 | REPT BATTERO Achieves Dual Breakthroughs in Safety Standards and Market Expansion

On the first day of the 18th SNEC International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Conference, REPT BATTERO made dual breakthroughs in energy storage safety standards and global market expansion, announcing multiple advancements in safety standard testing. The Wending^® 392Ah cell passed the latest domestic industry safety standard tests, while the Powtrix^® energy storage system successfully completed large-scale full-conttainer fire safety trials. At the exhibition site, REPT BATTERO also signed strategic agreements with multiple leading enterprises, comprehensively demonstrating its global competitiveness.

392Ah Obtained Safety Test Report

REPT BATTERO’s Wending^® 392Ah energy storage cell obtained a safety inspection report issued by CATARC (China Automotive Technology & Research Center) at the exhibition site. As a product that has passed the Lithium-Ion Batteries for Electric Energy Storage(GB/T 36276-2023) standard in the industry, the cell demonstrated excellent performance in aspects such as high-altitude charge-discharge testing, high-low temperature adaptability testing, overcharge/discharge performance testing, and thermal runaway performance testing, officially announcing its qualification in the inspection by CATARC.

Powtrix^® BESS Passes Large-Scale Fire Test

REPT BATTERO announced on the exhibition’s opening day that its Powtrix^® 5MWh energy storage battery system—with full-power in neighbor containers—successfully passed the CSA/ANSI C800 extreme safety test.

During the test, the Powtrix^® battery system faced challenges including bottom ignition triggering, bilateral extreme spacing of 10cm, thousand-degree high-temperature exposure from inside and outside, and removal of fire suppression agent tanks. Despite the fire burning continuously for 14 hours under multiple adverse conditions, the battery system showed exceptional safety, effectively withstanding extreme impacts. This demonstrates its robust safety performance and reliability, setting a new safety benchmark for the energy storage industry and providing a solid foundation for large-scale energy storage applications.
